Duties: Assemble the Cursed Skull on the pedestal and doom the world to destruction.
A devoted follower of Morbius, the God of death, called to bring ruin to all living things.
¶ One Who Broke the Laws of Life and Death
Perhaps a Dark Follower was once a mortal human, but is now a creature that has surrendered its soul to Morbius, the God of death and decay, and is condemned to serve him for eternity. In return, Dark Followers are freed from the flaws of the mortal body: they know neither fear, hunger, nor fatigue; they will never again freeze or bleed, and most importantly, they need fear no curses. All of this will help them carry out their master's will when he summons them.
¶ I Yearn to Serve!
The Dark Follower is a ghost role that appears at a random point on the island. Every follower carries two critically important items in their backpack: a book steeped in dark essence that allows them to obtain cursed equipment, and a piece of the Cursed Skull that must be placed on the pedestal near the College of Mages—the primary objective of every Dark Follower. Once the Skull is fully assembled, a vast army of darkness will be summoned to the island with a single task: eradicate all life on the island.
It is crucial that the fragments of the Cursed Skull do not fall into the hands of wretched mortals! If they consecrate all of its pieces with a bible and place them on the pedestal themselves, all the effort will be in vain: the army's arrival will be prevented, and the mortals will challenge Morbius himself in battle.
Fragments of the Cursed Skull
Several followers usually arrive at once. Although their objective is always in one place, they themselves appear in many different corners of the world. Each follower will have to make this dangerous journey alone unless they are fortunate enough to meet their allies. The undead will not touch them, but any mortal creature they encounter will surely try to stop them—unless the horror inspired by their mere appearance leaves it speechless.
Assess your abilities sensibly: if an enemy defeats you, the mortals will seize your fragment of the Cursed Skull.
¶ Arsenal of the Army of Darkness
Among the Dark Followers are both ferocious warriors clad in armor and wielding great halberds, and sophisticated spellcasters versed in simple spells such as magic arrows as well as forbidden dark arts. In their books, followers can find everything they need to defend themselves against anyone who tries to interfere with the assembly of the Cursed Skull.

¶ Tips
¶ When Playing as Dark Followers:
- Remember: your task is to deliver a fragment of the Cursed Skull, not to kill everyone indiscriminately. Always remain vigilant, but consider sparing those who do not wish to fight you.
- When purchasing equipment, bear in mind that you will most likely have to travel alone. Devise a strategy that lets you recognize danger in time and avoid it.
- If the island's inhabitants already know of your presence, be prepared to face serious resistance at the pedestal. If you realize that you cannot prevail alone, find the other followers and attack with superior numbers. Surrendering your fragment to the enemy is the worst outcome you can allow.
- Do not forget why you are here, but do not hesitate to speak with people who are still alive: Dark Followers can speak the common language.
- Plantain cannot heal you. You will have to rely on milk, which heals you when poured over you, as well as healing spells from sorcerers fighting on your side.
¶ When Playing Against Dark Followers:
- As soon as Morbius's servants are known to be present, every available force should be committed to guarding the pedestal near the College of Mages. Even sworn enemies may unite in the face of a common threat.
- Followers cannot be healed with plantain and will most likely carry glasses of milk. If they are caught in an explosion, the glasses will shatter and they will lose the ability to heal quickly.
- If the enemy has not been seen for a long time, they may be preparing a massive assault. Do not waste time: build more fortifications and recruit more allies.
- Every Dark Follower carries a fragment of the Cursed Skull. Always take these fragments from defeated enemies. Find a priest who can consecrate them with a bible, then place the consecrated fragments on the altar to bring your victory closer.
- If you have managed to consecrate every fragment of the Cursed Skull, the battle is not over yet. To join the battle against Morbius, all players must be standing near the pedestal when the final consecrated fragment is placed. Gather as many people as possible if you expect to win.
¶ Conclusion
Dark Followers are fanatics seeking to assemble the Cursed Skull and willing to kill anyone who stands in their way. They carry their faith in Morbius, the God of death and decay, and eagerly spread it throughout the island. You must fulfill your duty at any cost. Glory to Morbius!
