Difficulty: Hard
Duties: Hunt the island's inhabitants and spread chaos.
Features: Transformation into a monster by moonlight.
A cursed creature that turns into a monster by moonlight and spreads chaos among the island's inhabitants.
Werewolves are antagonists whose rules and permitted actions change depending on their form.
An ancient curse created to carry the power of the beast. In the dark hours of the night, your true nature awakens, granting incredible strength and abilities that ordinary people can only dream of. In return, however, it awakens an immense thirst for blood that you cannot control.
Werewolves are servants of the Goddess Zaigo, the Goddess of deception and treachery, who sent her servants as punishment for the inhabitants newly arrived on the sacred island. Anyone who encounters a werewolf will either flee without looking back or attack without a moment's hesitation. If that werewolf is discovered among the islanders, they will immediately be sent to the stake.
At night, the character has an uncontrollable chance to turn into a werewolf.
When the number of cursed people on the island reaches its peak, the moon turns crimson, and every werewolf without exception transforms and begins to wreak havoc.
Although the curse cannot be controlled or cured, it grants major advantages unavailable to ordinary people.
Rage points are earned by killing people in werewolf form or when the night ends. The upgrade menu is available only in human form.
The evolution menu contains many different abilities, both active and passive, and all of them are upgraded with rage points. The more developed a branch becomes, the stronger its abilities grow.

Under the full moon, the thirst for blood intensifies until self-control becomes impossible, and the hunt for prey begins. The curse may be powerful, but it does not make werewolves omnipotent: killing a lone traveler should pose little difficulty, while a werewolf may not even be able to escape from an entire group. The hunt should therefore take place in secluded areas, preferably in a dense forest or wherever travelers rarely go.
Night is the best time to hunt. At some point in your evolution, you gain the ability to transform at will at any time, but even then, other people can help a screaming, fleeing adventurer more easily in daylight than after dark. Always track your victim and consider whether anyone can come to their aid. The ideal plan is to befriend your target and travel with them until sunset while leading them to a remote place, where they will be unable to call for help or escape.
A lone wolf is capable of much, but not everything. Hunting alongside one of your kin is far easier, yet although the curse binds you together, you should not trust everyone.
After infection, an icon appears above the player to show that they are a werewolf. This mark is visible only to those who are infected.
Every living creature has weaknesses, whether human or monster. Werewolves trade protection for impressive strength and great speed, allowing a single skilled warrior to fend off a young werewolf. More experienced specimens, however, offer no such leniency. Even a youngster can fight back, and a battle with one will result in severe wounds, if not death.
One of nature's earliest gifts comes to the rescue against these creatures: Fire. Mages who study fire spells are extremely useful in battle against them, while archers can provide support with fire arrows crafted from carnelian by blacksmiths. Ordinary people with neither magic nor a bow can only defend themselves with torches.
Both options are acceptable and impose no restrictions on the character's subsequent development. The choice is entirely yours.
"Transformation" is the process of fully changing into a beast after infection.
