The Reborn must obtain a special material from creatures of another world in order to return to the real world.
A final breath, a gaze toward the sky, the heart beating ever more slowly, and then it arrives: DEATH.
But at some point, you open your eyes and see not the world you knew before, but something strange and unknown. Your hands have changed; you cannot feel flesh on them, nor any of the sensations you once had. Hunger, thirst, fear—all of it vanished in an instant, leaving only one goal in your mind: to return to the world of the living.
After death, you enter a new world and become a "Reborn". To achieve your primary goal, you must buy a key to the door to a new life and return to the real world in a new body. Everything has a price, however, and this key is no exception. Because this is the afterlife, ordinary currency is not accepted here; only Cursed Clotsare. Collect enough of them to purchase a key from the magical trading holes and be reborn—but you cannot simply work here to earn them.
They are not particularly strong or resilient, but they are small and nimble, allowing them to evade attacks easily. Up close they fight with their fists, while at range they use spells. This makes them weak individually, but a small group can cause serious trouble.
When you die, any accumulated clots held in your hands or pockets do not drop. If you put them in a bag and place the bag outside your inventory, they will remain there after your death.
Once you have died, you cannot truly perish a second time. Even if Evil Spirits bring you down, you can become Reborn again and make another attempt to return to the world of the living. This can continue forever. In a sense, it really is immortality.
All fauna in the new world is hostile, and fighting it requires power capable of standing against it. The new body's arsenal includes several spells. Whether you had mana in your previous life does not matter; with this power, achieving rebirth will not be quite so difficult.
Two spells are available: "Healing Touch" and "Magic Arrow: Follower".
Through blood and sweat, though the new body has neither, after overcoming many hardships, killing many spirits, escaping innumerable dangers, and collecting enough clots, the time has finally come to be Reborn.
After buying a key from a magical trading hole, opening the door, and stepping through it, you begin to feel touch and hunger, and your mouth grows dry. Looking at your hands, you see ordinary, skin-covered hands—but they are somewhat different from those you had before rebirth. Their shape, color, and size are all different. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about that. Although your body is different, your journey continues; all that remains is to accept this new reality and live a new life filled with new adventures and new acquaintances.
After rebirth, you cannot select your old character; you will need to use another character.
