Difficulty: Medium
Duties: Mine ore and explore caves
Restrictions: The role's faction falls into the category of Peaceful factions.
A Miner descends deep underground to extract valuable resources.
Finding and extracting ore is a Miner's main occupation. Remember, however, that hostile creatures will always be guarding valuable ore, whether bloodthirsty ants or stone golems. Be prepared for every danger! Stock up on combat equipment and bring companions who can watch your back.
Before heading deep underground, remember to bring the following items:
These items will help you extract ore in the cave's darkest corners.
To light a torch, use a fire striker or another source of flame.
Ore can be found not only in caves but also on the surface, around the outskirts of the island's regions. Every Miner knows where to look for each kind of ore:
| Ore | Description | Location | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
Iron Ore |
The most common ore | Caves and regional outskirts | Basic armor, weapons, and tools |
Gold Ore |
Less common ore | Caves and regional outskirts | Selling and a Forstone pickaxe |
Ebonite |
Very rare ore | Caves and regional outskirts | Ebonite armor and pickaxe |
Forstone |
Very rare ore | Caves and regional outskirts | Forstone armor and pickaxe |
Coal |
The most common ore | Caves and regional outskirts | Fuel |
Clay |
The most common component | Rivers and lakes | Ingot molds |
From time to time, colorful flashes appear in the sky... followed by a crash as if someone had struck the cliffs with a hammer. The time has come to hunt a falling star, for it contains rare ebonite ore. Legends say this material can be forged into armor that withstands any blade and deflects any projectile, even a magical one. Assemble a group and hurry after it, because you are not the only ones who want it.
The star can be found only by guessing where it fell. Magical instruments can detect its location and provide exact coordinates, but this is impossible without a magical map. Be careful: in addition to rare ore, the star harbors various aggressive creatures.
Being a Miner is more than a profession; it is a path. A path deep underground, toward wealth, glory... and danger. Every piece of ore you extract can become the basis of a weapon capable of changing the course of battle. Every ingot you find is a step toward economic power and influence. Underground, no maps, mercy, or easy life await you—only darkness, the roar of beasts, and the ring of a pickaxe. That is the essence of a Miner: to overcome and bring light into the depths.
