¶ Felag
Difficulty: Medium
Duties: Learning the art of warfare alongside your comrades and the Varangian
Restrictions: The role's faction falls into the category of Combatant factions.
The Felag is a newly arrived Rebel who will train and learn under supervision.
¶ New Recruit
The Felag is a person who embraced the Rebels' ideas and joined their army. Under the guidance of higher-ranking members, the Felag will learn martial arts, tactics, and how to handle weapons.
¶ Strike, Strike—Do Not Hold Back
Training begins once the Felag is assigned to a Varangian. The recruit is taught how to hold a weapon, strike properly, and fight. Training may also include bouts with wooden swords or archery practice.
¶ Learn While I Am Alive
After completing rigorous training, the Felag may be taken into a squad and sent deep into the territory. There, the Felag can apply these skills in real combat and learn new tricks that will help in future battles.
¶ Completion of Training
After learning everything the Varangian knew and fighting more than one skirmish on the region's roads, the Felag may be promoted to Militiaman, opening the way to further adventures. New adventures will bring glory and wealth, as well as victory for the Rebels over the Legion.
