Difficulty: Medium
Duties: Check travelers at the gates and search for prohibited goods.
The Rebel Gatekeeper is the first person a traveler sees when entering the resistance fortress inside the mountain.
The Rebel Gatekeeper is responsible for searching everyone who passes through the fortress gates.
Your task is to check travelers and their belongings for prohibited goods: contraband, poisons, cursed artifacts, or items capable of harming the Rebel movement. Carrying weapons is permitted as long as they do not violate internal rules.
Unlike Legion Gatekeepers, the Rebel Gatekeeper holds no special authority and stands on the same level as the other fighters. Nevertheless, the fortress's safety depends on their vigilance.
The Gatekeeper works with a partner or as part of a shift. They may leave only after arranging for a partner to take over the post. If contraband is discovered, the Gatekeeper should follow the Rebels' internal rules: confiscate it, report it to a senior member, or hand the suspect over to the command.
The Rebel fortress, hidden inside the mountain, has only one main entrance: the gates for which the Gatekeeper is responsible. This location is strategically important, and an enemy may try to carry something dangerous inside under the guise of harmless cargo.
A single careless inspection can cost the squad far too much.
The Rebel Gatekeeper is the fortress's eyes and filter. Your vigilance and precision determine whether the interior of the mountain citadel remains safe or an enemy carries a threat inside.
Service at the gates requires patience, cold calculation, and the ability to see what others miss.
