Do not insult other community members or use insults that incite division on racial, religious, gender, and especially national grounds. We strongly oppose inciting hatred, because it is neither fashionable nor ethical.
Do not deliberately try to anger, offend, or provoke anyone. We want every server member to feel comfortable while chatting and using our services.
Do not discuss information directly or indirectly connected to organizations or historical and political figures that have been condemned by international tribunals or recognized as terrorist, socially dangerous, and unlawful. This also applies to discussions of current political events. Why do we need any of that when we have Space Station 14?
Do not create messages containing photos or videos depicting violence against people or animals, or discussions of means and methods of violence. It is not cool.
Do not post pornographic or erotic material, or links to such material. Not even in NSFW channels.
Refrain from insulting or belittling other players based on their experience with SS14, differences between servers, mod versions, or any other differences between community members. If someone does not know the game mechanics well, that is no reason to insult them.
No advertising. If you would like to advertise something, contact ECspezi#4786.
Do not invent loopholes or try to wriggle around the rules. The main thing is to remain humane and protect the comfort of other participants in the conversation. At Imperial Space, the spirit of the rules matters more than the strict letter of the law.
Have fun! This is mandatory.

You must have a compelling reason to kill another person. Remember that your character is a living person who sees other characters as living people too. Just as a decent person would not kill someone without cause in real life, your character should not commit unjustified murder.
• In cases of self-defense, you are entitled to defend yourself by any available means until your own safety is secured.
• Carrying a weapon, holding a criminal role, or belonging to an armed faction is not a good enough reason to kill. Killing must remain a last resort.
Roles are divided into categories
Peaceful roles must not resort to killing, except in self-defense or in defense of others.
Opposing factions may use force when carrying out their duties and during the natural escalation of a conflict. Killing must be justified by the unfolding situation and your role's objectives.
Criminal roles may commit crimes appropriate to their role. Any killings are permitted strictly when no other outcome is possible.
While playing on our server, you must always remain in character and stay within the role's boundaries. We prohibit the use of any out-of-character language in roleplay chat.
